Carpentry and Faux Finishes For the first 5 years of business, Benchmark focused on interior and exterior painting. In 2000, we began offering carpentry services after witnessing a need for this service at our painting jobs. By adding carpentry services, we offer our clients the convenience of working with one contractor for several services. In 2001, we expanded our painting services by providing decorative painting and faux finishes, due to the high demand for these specialty offerings. In order to provide the best workmanship in these areas, several staff members received specialized training and continue to attend classes and conferences related to these disciplines.
